Protection after proper preparation

Ceramic coating and paint protection

Ceramic protection can help the finish resist environmental buildup and make routine washing more manageable. The quality of preparation matters as much as the product applied.

About this service

What ceramic coating does—and does not—do

A coating forms a protective layer over prepared paint. Many customers choose it for easier upkeep, gloss and resistance to ordinary environmental exposure. It is not armor: coatings do not make paint scratch-proof, eliminate water spots or replace washing.

Before application, we examine the finish, clean and decontaminate it, and discuss whether polishing is warranted. Product choice, environmental conditions, cure requirements and expected maintenance all affect the plan.

What to know

Preparation makes the difference

01

Evaluate the finish

Assess the condition of painted panels and identify defects or contamination that need attention.

02

Clean and decontaminate

Prepare the surface so protection is applied to an appropriately cleaned finish.

03

Polish when suitable

Refine eligible defects when the selected service and paint condition call for it.

04

Apply and explain care

Complete the selected protection and provide maintenance guidance for the chosen product.

Choosing the right level of care

For drivers prioritizing ongoing finish care

Coating can make sense when you want durable protection and intend to maintain it correctly. A sealant or premium wax may be a better value for some vehicles and maintenance habits.

Helpful answers

Ceramic Coating FAQs

Answers to practical questions about the service, scope and what to expect.

Does ceramic coating prevent scratches?

No. It helps with surface protection and cleaning, but it is not scratch-proof or impact-proof.

Can a coated car still get water spots?

Yes. Mineral deposits can still form if water dries on the coating; routine care remains important.

How long will a coating last?

Durability varies by product, prep, exposure, washing and maintenance. We explain expectations for the selected protection rather than guaranteeing a universal lifespan.
